What about international orders?
Island Company offers international shipping to customers using PayPal. We do not assume customs fees or duties on shipments, and we do not have a way to calculate this amount. Please visit our SHIPPING PAGE or contact your local courier for more information. The customer is responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. The customer is considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs, duties and fees which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by the recipient. Island Company has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country and you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. Island Company’s responsibility for the shipment is released one FedEx assumes control of the package from us. You will receive a tracking number. If it is lost, delayed etc, you will only be able to deal with FedEx, not Island Company. We wish we had more control over international shipping but each country has its own set of complications so all we can assume is getting the package to our shipper, FedEx. Returns internationally will also be handled the same way. You will be responsible for getting the package to us, you will have to assume duties levied by US Customs and then the same as we return product in different sizes etc as it come back to you. We advise you get help from our customer service to make sure of your sizing before placing an order.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping charges can vary depending on where you live and how fast you want your order to arrive. Our SHIPPING PAGE has a full description of all the options.
What is your return policy?
We will exchange or refund your purchase if we receive it back within 15 days of the delivery date with all original tags and liners in place. We cannot refund shipping charges and there is a restocking fee of 10% of the purchase price if you are returning for a refund. We will not charge a restocking fee for size or style exchanges. Any item that is returned damaged, dirty, or worn in any manner will not be accepted. All returns should be shipped with tracking and insurance. How do I decide what size I am at Island Company?
On each product page, a sizing chart is located at the right hand side of the product description. We know that getting the right fit for swimwear and clothing online is crucial. We make tremendous efforts to design our line to be accurate, and believe that a girl wearing a size 6 shouldn't have to buy a large. The sizing chart for each product will help you greatly, and if you still have questions, call us at 561-833-8110 and we'll help walk you through your choices. We also strongly advise you go to one of our retail destinations or valued partners carrying our line to make your purchase if you have one in your area. Do I have to pay taxes on my order?
6% sales tax will be added if your order is being shipped to any location in our home state of Florida.
