Known for its subtly retro spins on classic Americana meets Caribe-Exotic inspired travel apparel, Island Company is rapidly expanding, opening a store in East Hampton, adding a jewelry line, and most recently; eyewear. With six freestanding branded stores, complete men’s and women’s resort wear and swimwear collections, suncare and jewelry lines; eyewear was a necessary next step. These new divisions of the lifestyle brand have added to Island Company’s reputation as a ‘tropical lifestyle outfitter.’

Island Company’s Founder and Creative Director Spencer Antle; “It’s been fun to create these new extensions of Island Company. Everyone thinks I licensed all this out. But both the eyewear and the suncare were 100% designed and developed here. It’s been a lot of fun and incredibly successful.”
“The eyewear is designed to continue Island Company’s dedication to classic,
yet modern travel apparel.”
This is a product of my love for the islands and my life traveling through them,” says Antle. I’m not selling a brand that I created because I thought it was trendy. I’m branding my life. I take it very seriously. Each item is a result of careful thought as to what our customers need.”
All nine sunglass styles were designed within Island Company. They merge modern fashion with vintage classic; an Island Company trait the company has become known for. “Customers would constantly come into the stores and ask for sunglasses. So we found a factory outside of Venice, Italy and I got to it. I’m incredibly pleased with them.” From Island Essential, New England Prep and Exotic Europe — escapism emanates throughout the collection.
