Item Availability

What if I want an item that is sold out?

If an item is denoted as sold out, it is usually just that: sold out. This means we do not plan on ordering more of this item and it will not come back in stock. Occasionally, we may be able to find an item that is sold out online available in one of our retail locations. Please feel free to call or email customer@islandcompany.com, and we’d be happy to investigate!

When can I expect a backordered item?

If an item is backordered, we display notices with an estimated ship date on the product page, in your shopping cart prior to checkout, and in your order confirmation sent via e-mail. You will receive another e-mail when your backordered item ships. Funds will not be taken from your account until that time. We know the desire when ordering online is always to have your items as soon as possible, and we do our best to send items as soon as they are available!

Sizing

How do I know what size I am?

On each product page, a sizing chart is located in the 'details' section of the product description. We know that getting the right fit for swimwear and clothing online is crucial, and we make tremendous efforts to design our line to be accurate.

Does Island Company ever do sales?

Island Company rarely has sales, but we do run occasional promotions. The best way to hear about these promotions is by joining our mailing list or following us on social media.

What about international orders?

Island Company ships world wide, learn more about our international shipping HERE! All international orders are FINAL SALE, so we encourage utilizing our Island Concierge to find just the right size and style for you!

Is there a catalog I can shop from?

Island Company does publish catalogs, but they are intended as a lookbook and do not include our full selection.

Are all of the items available online also available in retail locations?

Not all items appearing in the online store are available in our retail locations. If you are considering visiting a store for a specific item, we recommend calling that store in advance to check availability. Our stores’ contact information can be found HERE.

How can Island Company fit into my island wedding?

We think island weddings are a great idea! If you’re interested in Island Company items for your wedding, please contact our Island Concierge, and we’d be happy to assist with styling and logistics!

How do I know if my order went through?

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation sent to your e-mail. If you are still unsure whether your order went through or you do not receive an e-mail confirmation, call us at 877.500.3800 or e-mail .

Backorder/Preorder

When can I expect my order?

What if part of my order is in stock?

If part of your order is in stock, we will ship the available items as soon as we receive and process your order. The backordered items will ship separately depending on their estimated ship dates.

When will I be charged for my order?

You will only be charged for items that ship at the time of shipment. If two items ship separately, you will be charged separately for those items.

How can I pay?

Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

There seems to be an error with my payment information?

Ensure that your billing address is correct and that your credit card has not expired. If you are still having issues, call us at 877.500.3800 or e-mail .

Can I pay with multiple credit cards?

At this time our system only accepts one method of payment.

How am I charged if there is a partial shipment?

If two items ship separately, you will be charged separately for those items at the time of each shipment.

Will I have to pay sales tax?

All orders with a shipping address in Florida will be charged 6% sales tax plus any applicable county taxes.

All international orders will have the option to prepay duties and taxes at checkout. Those international customers that opt not to pay duties & taxes at checkout may incur these charges at time of delivery.

When will my order ship?

We make every attempt to ship all orders placed before 2pm EST on the same business day. Orders placed over the weekend will ship on Monday, and orders placed over the holiday will ship the next business day. We always note during the checkout process when orders will be delayed due to holiday so you can plan accordingly. Orders are not delivered on Saturdays, so please plan accordingly for the weekend.

Do you ship internationally?

Can I ship to multiple addresses?

At this time we are unable to ship to multiple addresses within the same order.

Can I receive my order on Saturday?

Orders are not delivered on Saturdays, so please plan accordingly for the weekend.

After order is placed

Can I change/cancel my order?

We try to process and ship orders as quickly as possible, so changes and cancellations are not always possible. Please contact us immediately at 877.500.3800 or to check if changes are able to be made.

How can I check on my order?

You will receive an e-mail when you place your order as well as an e-mail containing tracking information when your order ships. You can also check on the status of your order by logging into your Passport.

When will I receive my package?

When your item ships, you will receive a FedEx tracking number that will allow you to see when your package will arrive.

Receiving your order

What if my package doesn’t arrive?

Should your order have any issues with its arrival, please contact our Island Concierge as soon as possible. Missing packages MUST be reported to Island Company within 7 days of the stated delivery date to accurately investigate.

What if I receive incorrect or damaged items?

In the rare event that you receive incorrect or damaged items, please contact us immediately.

Gift Cards & Stickers

Does Island Company offer gift cards?

At this time we do not offer gift cards for our online store, but we are working on making this an option in the near future. Our retail locations offer gift cards for in store use only. Check out our locations to contact an Island Company store regarding gift cards.

If you have an Island Company gift card and there is not a store near you, you can order any items you see online by phone from any of our store locations.

Can I get free promotional stickers?

We’re so glad you’re a fan! We do not send out promotional stickers or items, but you can find our full collection of stickers HERE.

Returns/Exchanges

How do I make a return?

Include the return form and original invoice in a box or large mailing envelope with the items and ship via the method of your choosing to:

How do I make an exchange?

If you need assistance selecting a different fit or style, we’d be happy to help! Call us at 877.500.3800 or e-mail .

If your return is an even exchange, no payment information is needed, and you will receive an e-mail when your new item ships. If your exchange costs less than your original order, you will receive an e-mail when the difference has been refunded and your new item ships. If your exchange costs more than your original order, please fill out your payment information on the exchange form or provide us with instructions to call you for payment over the phone.

I’m leaving for vacation and need my exchange in a hurry, can you help?

Do I need a return authorization?

No, simply download and print our return/exchange form HERE.

What will it cost me to make a return?

The cost of return shipping is your responsibility, but all exchanges are sent with complimentary ground shipping.

Is it possible to return something online I purchased in store?

Merchandise purchased from Island Company retail locations is only eligible for exchange or store credit at our retail locations and cannot be returned or exchanged through the online store. Jewelry cannot be returned in store.

Is it possible to return something in store I purchased online?

Island Company store locations are able to process even exchanges for the same or similar items from your online order with proof of purchase. Island Company store locations cannot process refunds for orders placed online.

Is it possible to return something I purchased at a resort or location that carried Island Company?

Items purchased at resorts, boutiques, or other independent locations that carry Island Company are not eligible for return or exchange through the online store or our retail locations.

Please contact the individual resort or location where you purchased the merchandise in order to obtain information on their return and exchange policies.

How long does it take to complete my exchange/refund?

Returns and exchanges are typically processed within five business days of being received. Please allow for additional processing time during peak season and holidays.
